Please find below a list of frequently asked questions. The answers aim to cover general queries on deliveries, returns and general beer related questions.

Delivery
How will I receive my order?
Alcohol Delivery
All deliveries containing alcohol will be delivered via Parcelforce.
Non- Alcohol delivery
Any deliveries that don't contain alcohol will be delivered by Evri
I have only received part of my order, when will I receive the rest?
It is possible that our parcel carrier will split deliver your order if it contains multiple boxes. If the rest of your order does not arrive within 3 days of the initial delivery please contact shopenquiries@sabrain.com
with your name, order number and details of the products you are missing.
Can I track my order?
You should receive auto tracking information from our courier partners via email
and /or text message which will be sent to the contact details supplied when you ordered. If you do not receive this notification, please contact shopenquiries@sabrain.com.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
We normally pick orders within 1-2 working days and ship with our courier partners on a 48 hour delivery service.
However, please note that during busy periods, such as Christmas and Father's
Day, orders are likely to take 3-5 working days to deliver.
If your order has not arrived within this time, please check your tracking info. If this does not provide you with a satisfactory answer, please contact shopenquiries@sabrain.com.
What is the best day to order bag in box beer?
To ensure the freshest product, all 5ltr bag in box orders will be despatched on the Wednesday of each week. Please note that whenever you order during the week your fresh beer will be packaged and dispatched on the Wednesday.
What is the last day I can order with guaranteed Christmas delivery?
We would advise that the last day to place an order with a guaranteed delivery date pre-Christmas would be Friday 15th December at 5pm.
Will I need to sign for my order?
Yes, unless prior agreement to leave in a safe place has been arranged. Please note that our parcel carrier partner might ask for proof of age as they require someone aged 18 or older to sign for delivery.
Can I change my delivery address?
If you need to make any changes to the delivery address, we will endeavour to make those changes as long as your order hasn't been dispatched. Please email shopenquiries@sabrain.com as soon as possible to give us the best chance to make any changes.
Can I make changes to an existing order once it has been paid?
Unfortunately, no, a new order would need to be made via the online shop. Please contact shopenquiries@sabrain.com and we will attempt wherever possible to group the orders together.
Can you leave my order with a neighbour?
Yes! Please add this as a note when placing your order. You will also have an opportunity to change your delivery preferences when you receive the dispatch notification from our parcel carrier. Please note that if you choose this delivery method you do so at your own risk.
Can you deliver at a specific time?
When you receive email or text confirmation that your order is dispatched you will be offered the option to change to your preferred delivery date. Whilst we cannot offer a specific time slot our parcel carrier will contact you on the morning of delivery to confirm your estimated delivery time.
My order was due for delivery but hasn't been delivered and I haven't received a card.
Please contact our team via shopenquiries@sabrain.com who will contact our parcel carrier to get an update on your order.
Do you deliver to destination outside of the UK?
Sorry, at the moment we only deliver to the UK.
Returns
We understand that sometimes it is necessary to exchange or return an item. Please see below for details on how to return an order.
We require proof of purchase for all refunds/returns. If this is not possible, please make sure you include your full name and contact details inside the package, don’t forget to tell us if you’d like a replacement or a refund. We will only refund the delivery cost if we have dispatched the damaged or incorrect goods. This policy does not affect your statutory rights. You will be responsible for any returned items until they reach us. Please make sure you obtain proof of postage to avoid any further issues or delays with your order.
Can I cancel my order?
Please contact shopenquiries@sabrain.com and quote your order number to arrange cancellation of
your order. Please note that if your order has already been dispatched, we will unfortunately not be able to recall and cancel your order.
Beer
My order appears to have been damaged on the way here, what can I do?
In the unlikely event that you experience any breakages during the delivery process, our policy is to happily replace or refund any broken bottles. Please contact shopenquiries@sabrain.com with your name, order number, details of the items damaged and a photo of the damage.
I’m not happy with the quality of my beer. What do I do?
In the unlikely event that you experience issues with the quality of your beer, please contact us immediately. Providing it has been stored appropriately and is within its shelf life, we will offer a full refund or a replacement item. We may request that any bottled or casks items are returned to us for further quality checks.
Clothing and Merchandise
What do I do if I’m not happy with my purchase/it doesn’t fit and I need to return my purchase?
If you are not happy with your purchase, please secure in its original packaging in “as new” condition and return to S.A Brain & Co Ltd, Dragon Brewery, Pacific Road, Cardiff. CF24 5HJ
Please include your order number and contact details. Also please clearly state the reason for your return. Customers have 30 days from the point of purchase to return goods.
Where agreed, refunds will be issued to the card used for the original purchase within 3-5 business days. We regret that in sizing and style related returns, original dispatch charges are non-refundable.
THE ITEM I WANT ISN’T AVAILABLE; WILL YOU BE GETTING MORE IN STOCK?
If the item you were looking for isn’t showing online, we may be out of stock, waiting for a delivery or possibly discontinuing the item. We try to rotate our merchandise seasonally, with new
and exciting products being introduced all year round. Our core beers are available all year round, but some of our special edition beers will only be available for a short period.

General beer questions
Are your beers suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans?
SA BRAIN beers are currently clarified using isinglass finings which is a product derived from fish. SA BRAIN beers are therefore not recommended for strict vegetarians or vegans.
Where can I find the allergens for our beers?
Allergens are listed on our product pages and all packaging.
