the Dragon Brewery, a cutting-edge facility located in the heart of the nation's capital. We combine traditional brewing techniques with modern innovation to create a range of beers that are spot on.
The Master & His Apprentice
There’s nothing that Bill doesn’t know about brewing. Having brewed from the age of 18, he has worked at Brains for 17 years - he is passing on all of that knowledge to the next generation. Ben joined us 3 years ago and supports Bill in making everything tick.
The team constantly research flavour combinations for future brews and utilise all our back catalogue for inspiration.
Meet the team
Our expert team are a dedicated close-knit bunch who have an average tenure of 15 years at the Brewery. They brew, package and distribute locally and nationally. We couldn’t do it without them....
Brewing Heritage
We love beer! Brains beers have been brewed in the heart of Cardiff since 1882. We brew using the finest locally sourced ingredients. Classic beers such as the Rev James, Dark and SA are joined by our more modern brands such as Bayside Lager and Barry Island IPA. Watch this space for our new products coming soon!
